The Challenge
Hestan Vineyards relied on a hand-coded PHP website connected to a business-critical legacy commerce system. The platform was difficult to update, required developer support for every change, and lacked a modern content-management structure. The challenge was to improve performance, flexibility, and customer experience without disrupting transactions or forcing a risky replatform.
Our Strategy
We modernized the platform through a carefully phased approach. The website evolved from a static front end into a React application, then to Remix and React Router v7 framework mode. Once the front end was stable, we introduced Hygraph as a headless CMS for structured marketing content—while preserving and integrating the winery’s proven commerce engine throughout every phase.
